UPSC Main Results 2018 Announced – Check Now:
The UPSC Civil Services main examination took place between September 28 and October 7, 2018. Since the UPSC main results for the civil services 2018 has been revealed, the candidates who qualify will have to enter for the personality test.
This personality test has been scheduled to start from 4th February 2018 onwards.

Certificates required for UPSC interview:
The qualified candidates of the UPSC Civil Services main examination require taking along the following:
- Their original certificates in order to verify their age
- Educational qualification certificates/proofs
- Community proof
- The person with Benchmark Disability (PwBD)
Along with the above, they require carrying other documents when they will be appearing for the personality test. All the candidates can download the formats of SC/ST/OBC or PwBD certificates as well as the TA Form direct from the website of the commission.
Exam pattern – UPSC IAS Mains 2018
The civil services preliminary exam results were announced on 14th July 2018. These preliminary examinations were conducted on June 3, 2018. The examination which is carried out every year in three stages which include preliminary, main and the last which is an interview to select candidates.
This interview is conducted for the administrative positions in various All-India Services as well as IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS, and IRTS. There are approximately 782 vacancies that have to be filled based on the civil services examination 2018 results.
These vacancies include 27 vacancies that are reserved for P.H category which means 07 vacancies for LDCP, 08 vacancies for B/LV, and 12 posts for H.I.
The previous year, the notifications revealed by the UPSC in order to recruit approximately 980 officers, were taken as the lowest in the last 5 years. This year they are going further lower than the previous years.
Mark Sheets of the UPSC Mains 2018:
The marks sheets will be displayed on the website of the Commission, of the students who couldn’t qualify for the vacancies. This will be done within 15 days from the publication date of the final results. The mark sheets will be available on the Website for as long as 60 days and after carrying out the Personality Test.
