The Top SHA-256 Bitcoin Mining Rigs of 2019
Cryptocurrencies, if we talk of the last year, have lost quite a lot of value. But Bitcoin miners have continued in order to process transactions along with the earning of block rewards. Also, a few new mining rigs had got announced in 2018 which also packed serious hash rates.
However, with the beginning of the New Year, today a few top devices can be bought from ASIC manufacturers. These devices process between 28-76 TH/s and can also be bought from 3rd part vendors. Moreover, last year, there have been a lot of announcements on new mining rig. A lot of the new devices were announced to be claiming that they have next generation 10 nm and 7nm semiconductors.
These were produced by chip foundries, for example, Samsung and TSMC. However, other machines offered better efficiency and lesser noise. Also, many mining rigs were found to be offering a water cooling system. Moreover, the Japanese manufacturer i.e. the GMO Group announced that it will not be developing, manufacturing, and selling the mining machines.
Also, the Halong Mining, the manufacturer in the crypto industry, got accused as they rebranded the Innosilicon miners. At present, the next generation devices have got available when it comes to the general public. Also, these machines are likely to enhance the network hash rate significantly over the coming time. Also, the top 4 mining machines with huge amounts of organic terahash can be bought today.
Top SHA-256 Bitcoin Mining Rigs of 2019
Ebang Ebit E11++
According to a report by news.Bitcoin.com, the China-based Ebang Communication announced the Ebit Miner E-11 series. There also was a claim in order to boast hash rate speeds. The speeds were allowed between 30-44 trillion hashes per second.
At present, according to the data by Asicminervalue.com, the E11++ miner drives the most profit with SHA-256 miner (BCH & BTC) when it comes to the market. It pulls in around $1.12 per day as per the recent Bitcoin prices. Last year, with the announcement of the new series, there was the unavailability of the rigs to the general public. But today, the devices are available to be bought directly from the manufacturer
The E11++ miner costs around $2,024. Also, the series units of E11’s next batch of E11 will be delivered by March. Moreover, the machine boasts a chip of DW1228 10nm with a hash rate of about 44 TH/s. Other than that, both (the E11+ and the E11++) have consumption of electricity pull of 1980-2035W.
Asicminer 8 Nano
The Asicminer 8 Nano is one more rig which helps mine the SHA-256 algorithm at 44 trillion hashes per one second. However, Ebang’s E11++ consumes about 2100W of power as compared to the 8nm equipped miner. Since there is the difference in power consumption, the Asicminer 8 Nano consumes 44 TH/s. At present, its profit is around $0.75 a day.
The company has claimed that the machine boasts 189 8nm custom AM0813 chips. Also, it processes around 16384 hash cores per die. Moreover, the 8 Nano is cheaper as compared to the Ebang device, at $1,790 per unit. However, it is a lot bigger as compared to today’s average machine. The 8 Nano weighs approximately 60 pounds.
Also, it measures around 500 x 500 x 235mm when it comes to its size. The fans of the machine radiate a neon red glow. The device comes with a noiseless water cooling system as well. You can but the machines from the website which currently confirms only 48 machines left.
Innosilicon Terminator 3 (T3)
Over the last few years, Innosilicon has been quite well when it comes to its mining rigs. These are powered by the 10nm semiconductor technology by Samsung. However, you can purchase the Terminator 3 model (also named T3).
According to the T3 specifications, the machine will be mining at 43 TH per second by consuming the power of 2100W. At present prices, it provides a profit of about $0.58 per day.
When it comes to the T3, it is expensive as compared to the 8 Nano. Also, if we talk about the current situation, the E11++ sells for $2,279 per unit. Other than that, deliveries are based on “first pay, first served.” Moreover, Innosilicon makes sure that all products have a proper license enabled with Asic Boost.
Bitmain Antminer S15
The new Bitmain Antminer is offering the customers a hash rate of 28 TH/s at least. It consumes about 1596W when it comes to power. One unit of S15 costs $1,249. It has 2 mining mode types. It’s also equipped with the custom 7nm chip by Bitmain.
Just as the Asicminer 8 Nano, the S15 is more than just looking like a miner which is average. This is because it comes with a parallel fan design in order to improve the efficiency of heat dissipation. Presently, as per the data on Asicminervalue.com, the S15 is getting the profit by $0.15 in one day.
Other than above, Bitmain also sells a lower tier S15. It generates 1 tera hash less at 27 TH/s. It will be saving the customer $45 as compared to the 28 TH/s model. According to Bitmain, customers who are using the S15’s next generation 7nm chips will be saving on electricity costs. It also includes the technology of custom semiconductor packaging integrated with mechanism miners that dissipates heat.
Asicminer 8 Nano Pro
The 8 Nano Pro, a machine by Asicminer, claims to generate around 76 trillion hashes in one second. This mega-device is said to pull around 4000W from the wall. The 8 Nano Pro costs about $11,600 per unit and a customer is required to buy at least 5 units per order.
The 76 TH/s machine:
- 500 x 1000 x 240mm in size
- Weighs about 150 pounds
- Noiseless water cooling system with the noise level of 48 decibels.
