In a first, New Delhi will host one of the biggest Battle Royale tournaments on Saturday, October 2. The Siri Fort Complex in the capital city will host a mobile gaming spectacle — the grand finale of Free Fire India Today League.

In what can be seen as a testament to the growing popularity of Battle Royale games in India, the Free Fire India Today League saw more than 30,000 teams entering the tournament. The qualifiers of the first-of-its-kind league was held over a period of 15 days during which teams battled in over 100 Free Fire matches.

The winner of Saturday’s Free Fire India Today League final will win a whopping Rs 8.5 lakh while a total prize money of Rs 35 lakh is up for grabs.
On top of that, the winning team will represent India in a global tournament called the Free Fire World Series that will be held in Brazil in November.
